No fireworks display this year in Jacksonville Beach

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- If you want to see fireworks this year and were planning on going to the beach, think again. The city has canceled their annual fireworks display.

I applaud Jacksonville Beach for the decision in the cancellation of the fireworks. What a nightmare it was just getting out of Jax Beach in a vehicle after the display. And the drunks (foul-mouthed and disrespectful). What part of "safety" do you not understand.

Yeah it's really terrible, I've been there every year. And while it takes some time getting home, it's not as bad as they make it out to be.
