INSTEAD OF RAISING PROPERTY TAXES, WHY DON'T WE RAISE THE LOCAL SALES TAX BY 1-2 CENTS? THAT WAY WE ALL PAY. NOT JUST PROPERTY OWNERS, RENTERS AND. THOSE ON WELFARE SHOULD PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE,TOO. WE ALL LIVE HERE SO WE SHOULD ALL PAY. MAYOR BROWN YOU LOST MY VOTE. NEVER VOTE DEMOCRAT. DOUG1

How could anything else get done when so much money was dumped into that Courthouse? It still is having problems. I did not vote for this "Better Jacksonville Plan." It was just another smoke screen for the politics of those in charge. Unfortunate for all that pay taxes on our property. If the oversized FBC that as blocks of downtown paid some taxes, there would be much less burden on those that just want to do what is in the best interest of Jax. Ah, what a pipe dream!
