JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- A brief respite from the daily widespread heavy rain and storms will continue through Friday.  There will still be isolated to widely scattered showers and storms but less than half the area will get rain.  Temperatures will stay hot and humid with highs in the upper 80s at the beaches to low to mid 90s inland.  Showers and storms will become more widespread again over the weekend.  Click ** here ** to download the FREE First Alert Weather iPad App.
