I agree wholeheartledly, wot90s. Is there some way a petition can be started to bring the carriage company back? This just isn't fair. It's not fair to the employees, it's not fair to the city, and it's not fair to the animals who have been trained to do this job. A job, by the way, which takes months or even a couple of years of training before a horse is deemed ready to start pulling carriages. To put these animals out to pasture is a real travesty.

why cant this business be helped just as the Professional sports teams are being given millions of dollars. this I would much rather see, and use, than football teams, and racing teams. You are talking about millionares, owning the Jags, and Dolphins, and players being paid millions ,even sometimes they don't preform.... and the racing circuit. Lets give the horse and carriage company the same amount, so these people who don't make millions can have money for food and home..
