JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Mild temperatures will continue as onshore east to northeast winds will be the big First Alert weather story much of this week. The onshore winds will increase moisture enough to produce a few widely scattered showers, especially closer to the coast and at the beaches but rain will be widely scattered and brief for the most part. The long fetch of easterly winds will also make for rough seas and surf and a high rip current risk at area beaches so use extra caution if venturing into the water. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s at the beaches and low to mid 80s inland.
