ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- A pizza delivery driver is safe and a suspect is on the loose, after a Domino’s pizza driver was robbed in broad daylight at the Holly Cove Apartments on Friday afternoon, according to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say they responded around 2:30 p.m. to the 1700 block of Wells Road and found the driver robbed of money and pizza.

Deputies began searching the area and believe the wanted suspect may have crossed into Duval County.

The CCSO is working in coordination with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office to track down the suspect.

Police have yet to release his identity.

The pizza driver was not injured in the incident.
