ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Emergency responders are making final preparations for Tropical Storm Andrea. People who live in flood prone areas like Middleberg's Black Creek are taking precautions too. We caught up with people who spent the night packing bags of sand to stave off flood waters. Amy Unick went to pick up a dozen bags of sand Wednesday night from the Orange Park Fire Department. Unick said, "Last time we got 7-8 of rain, my backyard flooded and it came in through the walls. So I'm trying to be a little bit more proactive and trying different ways to fix it." Hours before the rain hits, municipalities are offering sand for residents to pickup for themselves for free to help stave off potential flood waters.  Free sand and bags are being handed out at the Orange Park Town Hall on Stowe Avenue by the playground. As posted on the Town of Orange Park's Facebook page, "Bring your shovel and scoop yourself."
