Overturned semi closes lanes on I-95
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- A semi overturned Monday morning on Interstate 95, closing two southbound lanes south of County Road 210.
The driver, Ernesto Rivera-Rodriguez says he swerved to the left to avoid hitting a stopped car in the outside whose lights were not on. He says that he did hit the stopped car before overturning the semi.
The Florida Highway Patrol says that no second vehicle was involved in the accident after investigating the scene and the damage done to the semi. There are no injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol says one lane will be blocked for at least the next several hours while they work to clear the accident.
