LONDON (AP) - Palace officials say Prince William's wife, Kate, has been admitted to the hospital in the early stages of labor.

Royal officials said that Kate travelled by car to St. Mary's Hospital in central London. Kate - also known as the Duchess of Cambridge - is expected to give birth in the private Lindo Wing of the hospital, where Princess Diana gave birth to William and his younger brother, Prince Harry.

The baby will be third in line for the British throne - behind Prince Charles and William - and is anticipated eventually to become king or queen.

The medical team will be led by royal gynecologist Dr. Marcus Setchell.

The child will be the first for William and Kate, who married in 2011 after a long courtship.

the royal family has billion's. how bout feeding some of the homeless there. as far as i'm concerned I don't give a hoot about the family over there. there money never helped America. how about sending some of the money to pay back what we spent in ww2 for them.

Jacksonville should be focused on catching murder and robber suspects and the crime spree going on. Not wishing elite, wealthy upper class Brits a good delivery.

While I do have lesser important things to worry about…hehehe....I do hope that the delivery is a safe one for Mum and child.

My thoughts exactly Gunny48...and for those who on here who 'have a 'life' and couldn't 'care less', evidently have no respect for where THEY came from that which gave them life.
