PALM COAST, Fla. -- The Flagler County Sheriff's Office says a Palm Coast woman was a victim of an attempted purse snatching.
The 33-year-old victim told deputies that she arrived home at the Pine Lakes Apartment complex about 11:24 p.m. She said that while she was in the vehicle, a man in his mid to late 20s walked up, grabbed her purse strap and demanded the purse. She said she tried to give him her purse, but couldn't because the strapped was slung across her body.
The robber then tried to punch her in the face three times. The victim said she was able to get out of the car and the man ran off between the parking lot and Belle Terre Parkway. The suspect was wearing a grayish-colored hoodie and a green beanie-type hat. He had a slender build and heavy acne.
