JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – For this mother, it’s a moment that seems to be stuck on repeat.

"He started crying and I knew, I knew at that moment, I knew in my spirit that Jordan was gone,” said Lucia McBath.

McBath spent Tuesday evening visiting her 17-year-old son Jordan Davis in a funeral home. Davis died Friday at a Gate gas station on the Southside in the arms of his friends.

Michael Dunn, 45, is charged with his murder.

Police say Dunn pulled the trigger after an argument with the teens over loud music. A senseless killing in the eyes of two parents now left wondering why.

"I've asked myself that question a thousand times and I'll never know the answer, only God knows that,” said McBath.

"I’m trying to be strong for my son right now, but actually, off camera I'm a mess. I'm an actual mess. It's going to be a very long time before I'm able to get even a piece of myself back,” said Ronald Davis.

Davis knows the only way to do that is through the legacy of his son. Both of Jordan’s parents tell Action News they’re planning to spend the rest of their lives lobbying for stricter gun laws here in Florida. A mission that’ll be made worthwhile, they say, if they can spare someone else, anyone else, this level of pain.

"If everyone comes together maybe we can get some of these guns out of people's hands,” said Davis.

A foundation in his memory will also be created by Jordan’s parents for at-risk students that suffer from tragedies.

The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, November 28 from 4-7 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.

Typical Jewsmedia... gonna take it national? Check. Gonna get Jackson and Sharpton involved? Check. Gonna lie about the real reason this guy pulled a gun (the gun in the car they quickly got rid of?) Check. Gonna use this to try to destroy the second amendment? Check. Gonna demonize "whitey" because he is "evil" and "racist?" Check. If this had been the other way around and a black killed a white, you would hush it up as you normally do. Oh, yeah.. blacks killing whites is "incendiary" while stories of whites killing or beating blacks is not? How about your incitement of the LA Riots with your edited tape of Rodney King? How about the spike in black on white violence after some Mexican killed a black (in self defense) in Florida and you called him white? You have to dig for those stories, though... of course you would never take them national. We know your game, Jew. We know who the real enemy is.

his parents didn't give a tinkers damn about weapons before sonny got his caps ,, suddenly its gonna be a life mission ??? how come they never instructed sonny to lower the volume on his trashy music ??? then we wouldn't be having this conversation... sorry for your loss,, yet you'll never get guns out of law abiding Americans hands,, then only the criminals would have them,, and that's a recipe for disaster ... but good luck to them as they work through their grief...
