JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The 5-year-old son of a local pastor was back in surgery today after an accident in Duval County.

Ben Bowersox severed fingers on his hand while playing near an airport hangar door last month.

His father Steve Bowersox is the executive pastor of First Baptist Church in downtown Jacksonville.

He posted on Facebook that Ben had his fourth surgery after doctors found an infection and after Ben had an allergic reaction to a medication he is taking. He says Ben has high fevers, low blood pressure, increased heart rate, swelling and redness.

Yes, prayers, and I'm really glad that this church, and his family can afford this care…Duke University…Pretty pricey...Just wish that we all could!
