Police: Argument leads to deadly shooting, murder arrest
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An argument between neighbors ends with one man dead and one man in jail.
Antonio Joiner, 23, is charged with murder. Police say he got into a fight with Javan Reaves in November.
Reaves was found dead on the floor of his own home on West 25th Street, just after 4 p.m. that Sunday.
Investigators say Joiner was at the home earlier in the day and two angrily argued. Joiner left then came back to the house and sought out Reaves. During the ensuing brawl, Joiner dropped his gun, picked it back up and fired several times before running off, according to the police report. He was later found in his home on West 28th Street.
Joiner has a previous arrest history that includes carrying a concealed weapon and aggravated battery on a pregnant woman.
