ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Police in St. Augustine say a driver convicted five times for DUI was behind the wheel during a rollover crash this week.

The wreck happened July 4 around 10:45 p.m. when Theresa Long lost control of a small SUV near Gerado Street and Anastasia Boulevard. Her vehicle flipped at least three times before coming to a stop on the shoulder near the Nobby's parking lot according to the report.

Long was treated at a hospital for her injuries. Police are awaiting the outcome of blood alcohol testing to determine if drunk driving was a factor in the crash.

Police records indicate Long has attended four DUI schools in the past.

Common sense 4 DUI's would mean you do not have a license, people drive everyday without one.... not an issue for the Governor it is an issue for law enforcement. She should be locked up. At least one charge "Driving while license revoked"

the state needs to answer some hard questions about why this person had a license in the 1st place !!!! after 4 previous convictions for D>W<>I>,,, are they serious in issuing this person a license,, restricted or otherwise??? a license is a privilege,, NOT A RIGHT !!! USE IT WISELY,, NO PROBLEM !!! ABUSE IT, LOSE IT !!! GOVERNOR,, WHERE ARE YOU ON THIS ISSUE ??? how many more like her,, are there out there ???? we do not owe these sick individuals our lives or the lives of our loved ones !!!!! this must be addressed at once !!!!!! governor,, are you listening ??? have our legislators placed such a small price on our safety,, they are afraid to address this issue ????? COWARDS,, 1 & ALL,, ALL OF THEM !!!!

IF this woman was drunk, then she needs to go to jail for a very long time; especially before she ends up killing someone other than herself. She should also never be allowed to own another vehicle or drive anything other than a bicycle.

If she was drunk this time she needs to spend some serious time in jail. After five previous convictions she shouldn't even be behind the wheel of a car anyway.
