Police: Intruder dead after being shot by homeowner during home invasion

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- According to police, an intruder is dead following a home invasion in Arlington. JSO said officers were called around 11:20 p.m. to a home on Oak Water Drive.

According to Sgt. T. K. Waters, several men tried to enter the home when one was shot by the homeowner. That intruder was transported to the hospital and died.

According to Waters, the other men fled.

Police identified the shooting victim as Aaron Antwan Harris, 24.

Around 7 a.m., JSO received another call of a dead man in front of an animal hospital off of Monument Road.

Sergeant Shawn Coarsey says the man could connected to the home invasion off Oak Water Drive last night.

No arrests have been made.

JSO said no children were at the home.

Yes, ridding the neighborhood of one thug at a time. Now if he had a shotgun, he may have gotten ALL of the ass wipe thugs.
