LAKE CITY, Fla. -- A Columbia County man is behind bars, accused of "sexting" an 11-year-old.

Investigators believe Aaron Bader, 22, sent sexually explicit material to a Canadian child he met through an online video game. The mother of the child contacted police in Ontario which initiated a joint investigation.

The report says the pair exchanged more than 2,000 text messages in the span of a week in February.

When police made contact with Bader, he allegedly admitted to sending the inappropriate images.

He is charged with with transmission of obscene and harmful material to a minor by means of an electronic device. No bond was granted.

Sexting almost ruined my daughter's life. I found out that my daughter shared her mobile number and our home address with strangers on facebook and met a couple of them. And then I accidently saw conversation with sexual nature on my daughter’s facebook account. She uses her smartphone to be on facebook all the time. I decided to search for solutions, and thank God I found this service www.pgguard.com. Well, it could really give you peace of mind when it comes to facebook. It informs you on strangers that your child friends with or communicate with and when your kid gives personal information to strangers.
