Police: Man lied about girlfriend's father's death

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville man is in jail accused of lying to police about the death of his girlfriend's father.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, 20-year-old Toddrick N. Lee shot his girlfriend's father, Henry Underwood, 57, inside an apartment on the Westside on Saturday. 

According to JSO, Lee told police that another person shot Underwood and his girlfriend.

Lee's girlfriend eventually told police that he shot her and Underwood, police said.

According to JSO, Lee is facing murder charges.

Lee's girlfriend's name has not been identified, according to JSO. She is at UF Health Jacksonville.
