GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Pedro Bravo, the man charged with murder in the death of his friend and fellow UF student Christian Aguilar, is now being charged with kidnapping as well.

According to Alachua County court records, Bravo is now facing a kidnapping charge in addition to the murder charge.

Aguilar disappeared last month. Pedro Bravo told police he got into a fight with Aguilar outside a Gainesville business and Bravo left Aguilar injured on the side of the road. Aguilar's body has not been recovered, but police believe they have enough evidence to charge Bravo.

He was already behind bars for failing to call for medical help.

Aguilar and Bravo went to school together in Miami before moving up to Gainesville this summer.
