JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- All lanes of Atlantic Boulevard and Lee Road are clear this morning, after a police chase ended in a crash on the Southside.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says they were chasing a robbery suspect on Atlantic Boulevard this morning. Officers forced the suspect's vehicle off the road on Lee Road, just off Atlantic Boulevard. The suspect was arrested near the scene a short time later.

Police tell Action News no officers were hurt in the chase. Action News reporter Tracy Collins saw the suspect's airbag had deployed, but police were not able to say if the suspect was injured in the crash.

Police say the suspect is wanted for robbery, but they are not releasing any information about the crime the person is suspected of committing.
