JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man's standoff with police near the Jacksonville International Airport ends peacefully after he turns himself in.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a family's call about a man threatening suicide in his home on South Galway Avenue around 12:30 Saturday afternoon. Officers asked neighbors to leave once he refused to come on. Several roads in the area were also closed.
Shortly before 6 p.m, the unidentified man was taken into custody by police. No one was hurt in the incident.
