JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police have located a man wanted in connection with an October murder.
On Tuesday, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office asked for the public's help in finding Corey Vernon Spann, who had an outstanding warrant for the murder of George Ware on October 12. Ware was shot and killed in the 1500 block of W. 35th St.
Spann, also known as 'Reno,' was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service at 5 p.m. today.
Police arrested Dewayne "pokey" Jones in Ware's murder in november.
