Police find murder suspect's wallet at crime scene
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police had no problem finding one of four suspects in the killing of a man at a local apartment complex.
On Aug. 6, Wesley Phelps Bridges was fatally shot at the Parkview Place Apartments at 6226 Barnes Road.
Investigators found a wallet containing identification belonging to Jarquavis De'Vonte Davis near the scene. On August 8, Davis was arrested on an outstanding capias. He admited to JSO to being involved in the murder but was not the shooter. He also said that they suspects originally intended to commit a robbery.
Roteia Lashay Hutchison was also interviewed and admitted that she drove three people to the complex and that one of them was armed with a rifle. She also told detectives that she heard three shots fired before picking up the three people and driving away. Both suspects have been arrested and charged with murder in this case.
Police announced Thursday morning that two additional suspects had been arrested. One of those suspects is identified as 18-year-old Eltonia Humphries.
