JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police now hope a purse will lead them to the killer of a young woman a week after she was gunned down on the Westside.

Amber Bass, 22, was shot and killed in the driveway of her sister's home on Springtree Road July 19. A description of the suspect in the killing was not released at the time.

Friday, investigators released a sketch of a purse they believe belonged to Bass that was not recovered from the scene. It is gray with silver studs. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them immediately. Crime Stoppers is taking anonymous information at 1-866-845-TIPS.

Saturday, the group M.A.D.D.A.D.S. plans to walk in the neighborhood to urge people to come forward. That is expected to start at noon.
