Police looking for Kangaroo robber
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office needs the public's help in finding a man who robbed a Kangaroo convenience store off New Kings Road.
On Saturday, September 1 at 1:30 a.m. police were called to the Kangaroo located at 9901 New Kings Road in reference to a robbery.
According to the clerk, an unknown male entered the store, told the clerk that he had a weapon and demanded money. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500. You can also remain anonymous and possibly receive a tip by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
