Police looking for Publix attempted robbers

Jacksonville, Fla. -- Police are asking for help finding a man they say tried to rob a local Publix Supermarket. The attempted robbery happened around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 21 at the Publix on San Jose Blvd. The suspect told a clerk he had a gun and demanded money, but took off before getting any cash. The man drove off in a dark four-door SUV.

 The man is between 5’ 6” and 5’ 9”, and weighs between 160 and 180 pounds, He has light colored eyes, brown and gray hair. Police think he is between the ages of 50 and 60 years old.  The suspect was wearing a white and blue baseball cap, a blue jacket with a hood, blue jeans, and black shoes.
