MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- Police need the public's help in identifying two women that took a wallet from a shopping cart at a Middleburg Walmart.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office was called to the Walmart at 1580 Branan Field Road in early September after a shopper reported his wallet holding more than $1,100 was missing.
Walmart surveillance video showed the owner had left his wallet in his shopping cart and left for home. Later in the video a woman approached the shopping cart and took the wallet. The suspect left in a grey vehicle.
The wallet, owned by a resident stationed in Clay County with the U.S. Navy, had four credit cards, two identification cards and more than $1,100 inside.
If you have any information about the suspects in this case, you are asked to contact the Clay County Sheriff's Office at (904) 264-6512.
