GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. -- The Glynn County Police Department announced Friday it is offering a $25,000 reward for information in the investigation into the death of Glynn County Commissioner Tom Sublett.

Police found Sublett's body early Tuesday morning in the water at the St. Simons Island Boating & Fishing Club.

The autopsy report on Commissioner Tom Sublett shows he had his hands bound in front of him and a gun shot wound to the head.

Glynn County Coroner, Jimmy Durden, says the cause of death for Tom Sublett is drowning with a gunshot wound. The manner of death has yet to be determined.

There will be a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Brunswick.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's, followed by a reception at First United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mark's or United Way of Glynn County.

"Family and friends deeply appreciate the prayerful concern of the community and all those who have walked with him through this tragedy," said the Rev. Alan Akridge of St. Mark's.

If you have any information on the case you are asked to call the Glynn County Police Silent Witness line at (912) 554-7845.
