JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying an armed robbery suspect.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says a man entered the Family Dollar at 6351 Wilson Boulevard about 10 p.m. On Wednesday, showed the clerk a pistol and demanded money. The suspect made the clerk put money inside a Family Dollar bag. The suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late 20's or early 30's, 6'1"- 6'2" tall, medium build, 190 pounds, wearing a black and red wig, all black clothing, black hat with silver brim and armed with a silver pistol.

Anyone who has any information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.. You can remain anonymous and receive a possible reward up to $3,000.
