ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- St. Johns County detectives need the public's help gathering information on a man that robbed a Hastings Subway earlier this month.

Deputies responded to the Subway in the 8800 block of West Church Street after an armed robbery was called in.

According to witnesses, a man entered the store and ordered a meal. The unknown suspect then told employees he was armed and demanded money from the cash register.

The suspect is described as a man in his mid to late 20s, 6'0 and 250 pounds. The suspect was said to be wearing a white shirt, dark pants, a gold watch and appeared to have a "sleeve" spider tattoo on his right arm.

Witnesses said he was driving a dark, two-door compact car, possibly a Honda.

Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call Detective Sean Tice at 904-209-2192.
