Police seeking suspect in Flagler County robbery
FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -- Police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a woman in Daytona North on Thursday.
Flagler County Sheriff's deputies responded to a home on Mahogany Boulevard in Daytona North on Thursday afternoon in response to a call of a woman being robbed.
Cynthia Nicolson told deputies that about 12:45 p.m. she was unloading items from the trunk of her car when a man approached her from behind. He claimed to have a knife and demanded her purse. When she told him she did not have a purse and that she had no money, he allegedly pushed her to the ground and grabbed a necklace from her neck.
He then fled on foot and has not been found yet. The 32-year-old woman was not injured.
The suspect is described as a white male with a stocky build and long, black hair. He was wearing blue basketball short and no shirt.
