Pool hall gunman convicted
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man who opened fire on a pool hall is going to prison.
A jury convicted Michael Dennard Goodson, 24, on five counts of attempted murder for a shooting at Rack Em Billiards on University Boulevard in 2012.
Authorities say Goodson got into an argument with staff at the business and was thrown out. He returned with a gun, and shot five rounds into the building.
No one was hurt. A cell phone found at the scene led police to Goodson. The gun used in the shooting was found in his bedroom.
Goodson faces 20 years in prison.
