JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The big Powerball winners bought their tickets in Arizona and Missouri, but at least two Florida-purchased tickets are big winners, too. And Action News was the first to confirm that one of those tickets was bought in Jacksonville.

Florida lottery officials confirmed first to Action News that ticket was sold at a Publix on Kernan Blvd. near Beach Blvd.

That winner hit five out of six numbers, but not the Power Play and it was not a Power Play ticket, so that ticket is worth $1 million dollars.

A second winner in Florida hit five out of six numbers, but not the Powerball; however the ticket was a Power Play, meaning another dollar was put on the ticket to double any potential winnings. So that ticket is worth $2 million.

The winning numbers were 5-16-22-23-29, Powerball 6.
