JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The men we're featuring tonight have hurt the most vulnerable people in our community--children. That's why police need your help putting them back behind bars tonight.
First, take a good look at 63-year-old Paul Hawes. In 2008, Hawes was convicted of cruelty on a child. Then in 2010, the real bombshell when Hawes was caught with child pornography.
"21 counts. That means he had at least 21 photographs depicting that type of horrid activity," said FDLE Special Agent Dominick Pape. Pape warns that many sex offenders who are caught with child porn often "graduate" to physically abusing children.
That's part of why it's so important that police find Hawes tonight. Just one tip is all it takes.
