JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Florida Highway Patrol says alcohol may have been a factor in a crash that sent a pregnant woman to the hospital

Authorities say Shanna Winter, 27, lost control of her car on Roosevelt Boulevard. The car crossed the median and was hit by an oncoming pickup truck.

Winter and another passenger in the car were taken to UF & Shands in Jacksonville.

The mother-to-be is reportedly in critical condition.  She's 6 weeks pregnant.

The driver of the pickup truck went to St. Vincent's with non life-threatening injuries.

Police just reopened all lanes of Roosevelt Boulevard near Collins Road.

Alcohol tests on Winter are pending, as well as charges.
