WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama is taking 23 executive actions aimed at curbing gun violence that don't require congressional action, including measures to encourage schools to hire police officers, increase research on gun violence and improve efforts to prosecute gun crime.

The executive actions are part of an overarching package assembled by a task force led by Vice President Joe Biden. The measures come a month after the mass shooting in Newtown, Ct., that killed 20 elementary school children.

Obama is directing the Centers for Disease Control to research gun violence and is seeking rules to ensure that law enforcement conducts background checks before returning seized firearms.

He intends to nominate Todd Jones as director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Jones is the agency's acting director.

It appears our great leader needs to start at home in his own administration, Eric Holder can be his first one jailed for selling fully automatic military grade weapons to the Mexican drug cartel. It seems that he can't keep our population safe without trying to change our constitution for no reason. If he can't do his job we need to change that.

The crying shame is that 'by hook or crook' he was re-elected, never acted in accordance with the Constitution, and has acted like being president is a free entrance to Disneyland's Fantasy Land. He will always blame someone, some party, and always find some way not to be responsible. Folks in other countries have no respect or trust for him or his representatives. They seem to be the only ones who see through the lies he spoon feeds the media and the general public. I still don't understand how so many voting precints in the U.S. had more votes than registered voters, or how any candidate could have 100% of the votes. Something stinks and the media is ignoring it. Truthful news is hard to come by, these days.

Part II: Operation Fast and Furious and impeded a Congressional investigation into this illegal and deadly operation, which was instituted by an American law enforcement agency, the very people we are trusting with our safety. The weapons the A.T.F. agents supplied to these drug cartels has and continues to lead to the murder of hundreds if not thousands of Mexican citizens. Is this a criminal act? I firmly believe it is and this President’s administration and the A.T.F. officers in charge of operation Fast and Furious should be prosecuted to fullest extent of the law, both nationally and internationally. So I ask you again…why own an assault rifle because it is obvious that we can no longer trust our government to do what is right under national or international law; or for our government to support and protect the rights granted to us citizens by our Constitution and if this is the case, then we citizens need to have access to weapons equal to those our government might use against us. If you are blind or stupid enough to think that can’t happen in American, then look to the Middle East, Soviet Union, China, North Korea, Nazi Germany and a host of other nations who banned their citizens from owning firearms. To Mr. Obama and his pending gun policies, I say “Sieg Heil” and you can kiss my a double ss.

Why own an assault rifle? Well the number one reason is because governments throughout history have been known to turn on the very people they are tasked with protecting. This includes the corrupt, self serving, anti-constitutional, money hungry bunch of bickering thugs, who currently occupy the White House, the House and the Senate in our nation’s capital. Plainly stated, we recently had a President who ordered the invasion of another nation based on bad information and a false threat to the American people; which by the way was almost the same thing Adolph Hitler and Germany did to Poland at the onset of War World II. This same President and his administration also aided and condoned the execution of that nation’s leader, while thrusting their own nation into a dangerous financial crises, the likes of which haven’t been seen in this country, since the Great Depression. Was this invasion a criminal act? I believe whole heartily that it was and that this President and certain members of his administration should be prosecuted by the U.N. for war crimes against humanity. Now we have President Adolph Obama and his crooked administration trying to trample on the 2nd Amendment Rights granted to every citizen by the Constitution of the United States, the very contract our government has with every citizen created for our protection from governmental intervention. This same President supports and condones the A.T.F. supplying Mexican drug cartels with American made assault rifles, the very same assault rifles Adolph Obama is now trying to take away from honest, hard working, tax paying Americans, who legally own such weapons for their and their family’s protection. This same President who so willingly wants to circumvent our Constitution, was the same President who helped Eric Holder, the Attorney General, American’s top prosecutor, cover up the criminal act known as operation Fast and Furious and impeded a Congressional investigation into this illegal and deadly operatio

It is very hard to 'impeach' a President. But if he encroaches on our Right to keep and bear arms, he will be crossing that line. He was and will be again SWORN in as President "to KEEP AND UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION of the United States. To NOT UPHOLD IT, AS HE IS SWORN IN TO, is an impeachable offense. And since he has signed off on over 100 'executive orders' so far....we have the RIGHT to know what they ALL are.
