Prisoner on the run in St. Johns County

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- Sheriff deputies are searching areas near the World Golf Village for 16-year-old Syllas McMillian.

McMillian was in custody for non-violent burglary and theft charges, according to the SJCSO.

He was with a group of inmates at the Haven Horse Ranch off C.R. 208 when he kicked out a bathroom window at the ranch and fled on foot.

McMillian is 6’2”, and weighs 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and green pants.

Deputies continue to search for the juvenile from the ground and air along Interstate 95 and the World Golf Village.
