JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Action News has learned prosecutors want to retry Michael Dunn for the first-degree murder of Jordan Davis in May.

Action News anchor Paige Kelton spoke with Assistant State Attorney John Guy in an exclusive sit-down interview with a member of the prosecution team since a jury deadlocked on the murder charge against Dunn.

"Did Michael Dunn get away with murder?

"Not yet," said Guy.

Guy said prosecutors will certainly take a look as to how the jury came to its decision in advance of a second trial.

Dunn will be back in court on March 24 for sentencing.

OMG -- Another "drama king" in the SA's office -- Well, now we've got "drama queen Corey" and "drama king Guy". They need to take lessons from Mark O'Mara on how to handle a trial, jurors, etc. Certainly think one can get their point across without all of the "drama". He was a complete turnoff during the Dunn trial. His arrogance definitely shines through.

Why are they wasting taxpayers money? He has a minimum of a 60 year sentence, he is 42 years old. Do the math....or don't you know how to add! The last time I added he will be 102 years old when released. To everyone that is worried about him getting out of prison, get smart, figure the fact that Dunn is going to die in prison. Does it really matter what the charges are? He will be treated the same no matter what the charges are. Save the taxpayers some money.
