"Do you think you're in a position to do your job well, though?" asked Baker. "We're doing the job just as well today as we were two months ago, before you guys started reporting," Shirk adds. That's probably the only honest thing he said, but what he's not saying is the job being done, with a couple of exceptions in the office pool, wasn't good two months ago. With him you must always read between the lines. Shirk won't resign. He can't give up his paycheck because he didn't make the money in private practice that most good lawyers make. He'll have to be dragged out kicking and screaming.

He's finally getting caught up with the lying person he has always been. Hopefully this time his lies won't work. He has never been qualified to run that office and he ruined the excellent reputation it had under Lou Frost and Bill White (the best P.D. Office in the state of Florida). He MUST go and voters must be more educated about the candidate and office before casting their vote.
