JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- A strong upper leve disturbance will move into the Southeast U.S. Tuesday triggering numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms with heavy rain at times. If there's enough heating in the morning, some of the storms could be strong in the afternoon producing strong and gusty winds. All areas should get at least some rain with amounts averaging a half inch to an inch, locally more. A weak front will remain in the area much of this week continuing at least scattered showers but keeping temperatures relatively mild.
