JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Rain will spread across the area tonight with near 100% coverage but amounts will only average a quarter of an inch or less across metro Jacksonville and most of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia though a few areas -- mainly west of Jacksonville -- could measure as much as a half inch.
Tuesday will be much cooler.  Any lingering rain will end early in the day but low clouds will linger for several hours before the sun breaks out later in the morning through the afternoon.  Temperatures will be 20+ degrees cooler than the last several days with highs only in the upper 50s to low 60s.  Gusty north winds will make feel even cooler.
A light inland frost & freeze will occur early Christmas morning -- mainly near and west of Highway 301.
