Rallying for Jordan Davis on the Southside
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A rally for Jordan Davis will be held at the very gas station where he was shot and killed.
The New Jim Crow Movement and other groups in the community will be protesting that the jury did not convict Dunn on the first count of first-degree murder on Saturday. The jury deadlocked on that count.
The jury did convict Dunn of three counts of attempted second-degree murder. The jury also convicted Dunn on one count of shooting or throwing a deadly missile.
The rally will begin at Noon at the Gate gas station at the intersection of Southside Boulevard and Baymeadows Road.
