Rare ‘Blue Moon’ tonight

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Those looking into the night sky tonight could see a rare Blue Moon.

A blue moon is the third of four moons in a season - the June solstice to the September Equinox.

A seasonable blue moon happens every 2.5 years, and the next one won’t be until 2016.

Before night falls, scattered inland showers and thunderstorms should develop, according to the First Alert Weather team.
