Red Cross heads to the Northeast to help Sandy victims
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Northeast Florida chapter of the American Red Cross is sending its second emergency response truck to help victims of Superstorm Sandy.
Two volunteers left from regional headquarters in Jacksonville just before noon Wednesday. They are embarking on a 16 hour drive to New Brunswick, N.J. The team will meet up with other volunteers to hand out food, water and other much needed supplies to displaced people.
