Red light cameras get OK in Orange Park

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Red light traffic cameras could soon monitor the roads in Orange Park.

City leaders there voted Tuesday night to move forward with installing the cameras, but haven't yet determined which intersections will get the cameras.
        
Green Cove Springs already has the cameras, and Jacksonville will soon get them as well.

While studies have shown the cameras generate much-needed revenue, they also reduce crashes at dangerous intersections.
