ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Flagler Hospital's renovation to its main lobby is forcing some services to move locations for the next several months.
The renovations are designed to improve patient drop access as well as create a more serene entry into the hospital.
"We are committed to ensuring all of our patients, families and visitors have the best possible experience while at our hospital," commented President and CEO Joe Gordy.
Service changes include:
• All on-site outpatient lab draws will be conducted in the Flagler Hospital Outpatient Surgery Center.
• Patients having radiology procedures done at Flagler Hospital can register for their procedure by going directly to the radiology reception desk on the second floor of the main hospital building.
• Registration for all other hospital services will be conducted in a designated area of the emergency room lobby, which will serve as the temporary main entrance during the construction period.
• The gift shop will temporarily be located in the 1West Conference Room, located around the corner from the cafeteria, next to the Cancer Education and Support Center.
Construction is scheduled to last around four months.
