JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A new report says Jacksonville has some of the best drivers in the country.

Allstate America ranked Jacksonville as the second safest city in the country in terms of car collision frequency, among cities with a population of 750,000 - 1,000,000.

Overall, Jacksonville ranks 73rd. Allstate said the average driver in Jacksonville will experience a crash every 9.7 years.

The safest city in the country, according to the online report, is Fort Collins, Colo. The city has been number one for the past three years.

If it's safer lower insurance rates. Also, try riding a bike or walking in this town. Not safe for those either.
