JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Panda Chinese sits in a shopping center on 103rd Street in west Jacksonville.
The state health inspector issued a warning and called for a second inspection after going through the eatery.
The inspector found nine violations, with seven considered high priority.
Among the complaints:
Food not properly protected from contamination -- chicken stacked on other chicken, with the bottom of pans touching the chicken.
Fish offered raw or undercooked without undergoing proper parasite destruction.
Raw chicken stored above raw shrimp and raw fish stored above raw vegetables.
Suite/Libretto's Pizzeria on Big Island Drive had 7 high-priority violations as well. Among the complaints: live flies in the kitchen and food held at wrong temperatures.
Cinco de Mayo Authentic Mexican Restaurant on Atlantic Boulevard had six high-priority violations. The restaurant has already passed a second inspection.click here
