JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Latin House Grill is located on Timuquana Road in Jacksonville. The manager tells us it's been open since April. During the state health inspection report this week 19 violations were found. Seven of them were considered high priority which means they could make you sick. Here are some of the violations:
An employee didn't wash their hands before working with food
Food with mold like growth was found and thrown out
Non-food grade containers were being used to store plantains
The inspector also gave a warning for no proof of employee training
Manager, Debbie Burgos tells us, "Everything is being worked on. We ordered the books to train the employees. All the violations are being fixed and the inspector is coming back to check on us."
Other restaurants at the top of the high priority list this week include:
Orange Park Fast Wok which had seven high priority violations including an employee who just arrived and started prepping food without washing their hands.
At Hop Shing on Atlantic Boulevard in Atlantic Beach there were six high priority violations including a repeat violation of dead roaches.
