Jacksonville, FLA. - Legrand's Steak and Seafood is located on Old Saint Augustine Road in Jacksonville. It's owned by the LeGrand family of Jacksonville. On the restaurant website there's a promise of exceptional service the moment you are greeted at the door.
We were greeted at the door by a man who told us, "I'm busy I have a restaurant to open up."
He refused to tell us his name or his position. We asked if he was the manager and he told us he was not. We asked to speak to a manager or the owner and this was his response, "They are not available right now. Thank you for coming at this time we have no comment."

NO COPY OF THE LATEST INSPECTION REPORT
DEBRIS BUILD-UP ON THE BOTTOM OF A CONTAINER WITH CLEAN LIDS AND UTENSILS
INSIDE OF THE MICROWAVE WAS DIRTY
After leaving LeGrand's we sent an email the the General Manager who responded with this email:
"Owner will be contacting you with a statement. I apologize Zach Dismissed you as he did, I have been out of town and he was not sure of how to handle that situation." - James Garner, GM
The owner, Ron LeGrand then sent us this statement:
"Sorry my AGM turned you away yesterday. I'm happy to comment on the inspection report. We are addressing all of the issues and all will be fixed this week, some already. None were major; most were mechanical and the rest fall under better training for our employees. We work daily to ensure our guests receive quality food, delivered safely and in a timely fashion. Thanks for your time."

rounded out the top three restaurants with the most number of critical violations.
