JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Located on Blanding Boulevard in Orange Park No. 1 China is number one on the high priority list this week. We found 35 violations in the latest state health inspection. Eight of those were considered 'high priority' and could make you sick. Here are some of the violations we uncovered in the report.

Live small flying insects in the food preparation area.
A license expired for more than 60 days.
The inspector found a toxic substance next to the food preparation area with the potential to cause cross contamination. A can of WD-40 was found next to the meat grinder.

When we called to ask the owner, Dick, if he was using WD-40 on the meat grinder he told us, "We use it for the meat grinder. We use it to make it smoother... to make the machine work better."

He also told us all the violations at his restaurant were fixed and that he did renew his state license.

We called the State of Florida and found out No 1 China is currently in delinquent license status.

As for using WD-40 on the meat grinder, we were told only a food grade lubricant should be used on equipment due to the possibility of contamination.

Also on the list of restaurants with high-priority violations in our area:

At Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites on Southwest Commerce Drive in Lake City there were 17 violations. Seven of those were 'high priority' such as Deli meat that was discarded for being over temperature.

Tad's Restaurant on Lane Avenue in Jacksonville had 12 violations, six were 'high priority'. The inspector issued a 'stop sale' on egg noodles for not being consumed within seven days of preparation or opening.

The following restaurants had zero violations and earn our Clean Plate Award:

Kennedys Foods - Hwy 247 Columbia County
2 Catering Cousins - Beaver Street
Smoke It Up BBQ - Beaver Street
The Phantom Chef - Prudential Drive
Comfort Suites - Commonwealth Avenue
